General
Pad-batch method or impregnation-cold keeping method is the fabric impregnated with dyestuffs and/or chemicals, wrapped in a cloth, covered and left to wait at room temperature.
Applications
The impregnation method is a dyeing method based on the principle of treating the fabric with a dyestuff solution in a vat (fulard) for a very short time and at a low liquor ratio and then squeezing it.
Dyeing According to Pad-Batch Method
Dyeing with pad-batch method; It can be applied with one bathroom or two bathrooms.
Single-bath cold holding method: It is applied as impregnation with dyestuff solution and alkali, cold keeping by wrapping with foil, post-processing and drying.
Two-bath cold holding method: Impregnation with neutral dyestuff solution, Intermediate drying, Impregnation with alkali and salt solution, Cold holding by wrapping with foil, Post-treatments, Drying. Dyeing with the cold soak method is a process that is heavily affected by many environmental factors and the pre-treatment of the fabric. Therefore, the properties of the fabric to be prepared for dyeing are very important. For a successful pad-batch dyeing; The fabric must be well pre-treated.

Washing is the practice of removing the impurities in the textile product, the dyestuffs and chemical substances (not chemically bonded) remaining on the textile product from the previous pre-treatment, dyeing and finishing processes, with water. It is one of the basic processes with the most variety among finishing processes. This process is done with various washing agents and textile auxiliaries. In textile finishing, all methods and process steps (pre-treatment, dyeing, printing) are of great importance in terms of product quality.
